SecureData Guard

SecureData Guard provides fast and reliable backups utilizing Axion from EMC Software, a revolutionary disk based backup system that is scalable and secure.   Your data is backed up from your office location to our SAS 70 Type II certified data center over your existing Internet connection secured by AES-128 encryption or a site-to-site VPN.

Full Backups Every Night

Unlike traditional tape backup systems,  there is no hassle restoring the latest full backup and then applying incremental backups: every job is a full backup.  Using a process called commonality factoring, SecureData only transfers new data from your infrastructure back to our facility.  SecureData will correlate this new data with existing data to build a full backup image. 

Since typical backup jobs need to transfer less than 5% of the total data protected this allows for large servers to be protected over DSL or T1 connections.

Broad Operating System and Application Support

Most operating systems are supported, as well as hot backups from Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Exchange.  The software agent necessary to perform the backups is provided by Data393.

Fast Support and Detailed Reporting

Restores of your data may be performed at any time by contacting the Data393 Support team.  Restores are initiated almost immediately after your request them, since SecureData does not require individual tapes to be located and inserted into the tape library.  Data may be restored back to its original location, to another directory, or even to a different server.

With nightly email updates indicating the success of your data backups, the amount of data protected, and even a list of the directories that were protected; you will never be left wondering if your data will be there when you need it.  These reports allow IT personnel to know exactly what has been backed up and provide proof that data is being protected in accordance with necessary compliancy guidelines.

Additional Replication Available
